Townsville City Council public parks and sporting fields provide a popular recreational area for local residents.
B&R Enclosures was contacted to find a replacement enclosure capable of being installed at different locations affected by vandalism, weather conditions and general ageing.
B&R were tasked with developing a design for metering, controls and protection in compliance with QLD metering AS3000. They also had to identify specific requirements for each site and ensure enclosures have the ability to withstand tropical conditions and exposure to the public.
B&R supplied Monarch IP, an enclosure capable of meeting the specified requirements, and also incorporated B&R’s Value Add component.
The Monarch IP’s flexibility provided the perfect solution, and by working closely with the customer and contractors, B&R was able to satisfy the specific needs of the Townsville City Council. The solution has significantly improved the reliability of the systems and provided a secure enclosure less susceptible to vandalism. Other key outcomes included:
